Schedule Request Statuses
The stages a Schedule Request moves through, and why they can differ from request to request.
Unlike Work Requests, a Schedule Request doesn't follow one fixed path for every request. Which stages it passes through depends on how the specific resources you booked are configured — each resource can independently require approval, a cost estimate, or an invoice.
Possible stages
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending Resource | The request doesn't have its resources fully assigned yet. |
| Pending Approval | Waiting on approval from the people responsible for the requested resources. |
| Declined | An approver rejected the request. |
| Pending Estimate | Waiting on a cost estimate, for resources that require one. |
| Pending Estimate Acceptance | An estimate has been provided and is waiting on you to accept it. |
| Estimate Declined | You declined the estimate. |
| Pending Invoice | Waiting on an invoice, for resources that require invoicing. |
| Pending Payment | An invoice exists and payment is outstanding. |
| Finalized | The request is complete. |
| Canceled | The request was canceled. |
Why requests can skip stages
A request only passes through the stages that apply to what you booked. If none of your resources require approval, estimating, or invoicing, your request can go straight to Finalized. If even one resource does require one of those steps, the request picks up that stage.
Example: You book a conference room (no approval needed) and a projector (requires approval and an estimate). Because at least one resource in your request needs approval and an estimate, the whole request moves through Pending Approval and Pending Estimate before it can be finalized — even though the room itself didn't need either step.
